Grease Monkey - Canberra

Easily the best burger joint in Canberra. Orgasmic burgers and chips, excellent service, great vibe. Never any hour-long waits for a burger, unlike a certain over-hyped Canberra burger shop which will not be named.

Having coeliac disease, I always get a little anxious going to new places. Grease Monkey definitely didn’t disappoint. When I ordered my burger with gluten free bun, I was asked if I was intolerant or coeliac. They went on to tell me the relish and fries weren’t considered safe for me, and gave me a side of coleslaw instead. Always a good sign that they know what they’re doing. After eating, I feel great, and the food was amazing! Thank you for being so knowledgeable about the food and serving up amazingly tasty (and safe) treats!

We (four of us) had dinner here whilst on holiday from Queensland and it was excellent. The burgers are great and the $20 cocktail jugs (on Sundays) make for an even better night.

We had the beef burger. The beef patty was so good. And they had plenty of sauce on the burger.

The best gluten free pizza that I’ve had in Australia. The tomato sauce topping it was fabulous, way better than the standard pizza sauces and the gf base was brilliant. Very filling as well.<br/
