Madam Lu Malaysian - Canberra

I discovered the vegetarian nasi lemak and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious and authentic. Definitely worth trying!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Canberra. Everything I tried here was incredibly tasty, fresh, and had a local vibe. The veggie chow was complemented perfectly by their sambal sauce for lunch. The prawn wonton soup was also delightful, and there's a fantastic fried tofu dish I enjoyed. It's definitely a place I'll return to.

I recently discovered this restaurant and I absolutely love it! The food is very authentic and delicious, with generous portions and quick service. The staff and owners are incredibly kind as well; I accidentally spilled some water and they cleaned it up right away, reassuring me that it was no problem at all even when I was really apologetic. I can’t wait to come back!

Good haunted Malaysian food. My favorite dish is the mud crab or seafood e-mien. The noodle structure is chewing and tastes of seafood. Another good dish is the prawn paste chicken. Almost everything is good here. You make a buffet once a month for $39/person.

Wow! Everything was so delicious. Spring rolls had juicy meat inside. The pan roasted dumplings were crispy outside and a delicious broth with the meat inside. Tofu Goreng sauce with peanuts and cucumber so fresh and the tofu was really good (normally I don't like tofu). Beef Rndang had a fluffy, fluffy, handmade red. Beef with ginger and scarves so delicate and tasteful, the sauce is thick and gooey, so good. Fried rice, pure rice and a vegetable dish with a kind of spinach? Perfection. Many large tables around so even with a full restaurant did not feel crowded. The young waiting staff works hard and we are friendly. They sometimes seemed overwhelmed, it was not necessarily a bad thing, just an observation, but it does not take from my 5 star rating. I will definitely be back to try the Hainanese Chicken Rice, apparently there is a Saturday special for $11!
