Great little place in town. Ducked in for a nice quiet lunch and was pleasantly surprised by this little gem. Wasn't too busy when I was there which was great. Food was really good which was a shock given the lack of patronage? I suppose it may have been due to time of day and year.
Mr Wei’s is conveniently close to the canberra Theatre making it a good spot to try for a pre-theatre dinner. Prices are quite high, but it does offer 25% discount for the Canberra Entertaimnet Card and BYO wine at $10 per bottle. It also has some very delicious choices that can be shared which makes the final price reasonable.

We found this place after checking out several other Chinese restaurants around Canberra City and decided to try them out as it was very clean and full of customers always a good sign!<br/ <br/ We ordered the Crispy Chicken in Golden Sands, Pan fried Vegetarian Dumplings and Veg Fried Rice to share. The outstanding winner was the Crispy Chicken without a doubt the flavours all came together and worked nicely with the fresh lettuce cups.<br/ <br/ The only disappointment I found was that we were not offered fresh bowls after the entree, which would have been preferable as the Crispy Chicken was quite 'crumby '. Also, soy sauce was served in a small bowl with a teaspoon rather than a bottle, which made it difficult to administer.<br/ <br/ Overall however, the food was delish and well priced, so very happy with the experience!
