Sanya Bar - Canberra

Decided to pop into this funky new bar in the heart of Braddon while I was in Canberra this weekend. It was a great decision as food and drinks were amazing. Staff were attentive and very accommodating to those on my table who weren't drinking by offering them mocktail version of the cocktails. We ordered the crispy banana skin wings, crispy fried beef and blue cheese toast, copious amounts of dim sums and dumplings, the lotus beef patties and finished off with the fried cheesecake which really hit the spot. Inventive and unique menu that worked well and gives you an insight into the parts of Chinese cuisine that are rare to find. Turned out to be a great night. Would highly recommend.

Such a great addition to Lonsdale Street's tapas/bar scene! Imaginative, delicious and fun dishes matched with exciting (and well priced) cocktails!

The food was not impressive, very small portions and not that tasty. I can say that their service was super friendly and very accommodating. They had an interesting list of cocktails and mocktails but I didn’t get around to that. Check this place out for their drinks and cool vibe only eat the food if you really have to.
