The Bench Room - Canberra

This café offers a selection of wraps, sandwiches, quiches, cakes, biscuits, and more to choose from. The prices are on the higher side and the two sandwiches we ordered were just okay in taste.

We enjoyed a meal before exploring the National Film and Sound Archives. The fish, chips, and salad were delicious, as were the quiche and chips. However, my husband wasn't a fan of the sausage roll of the day, which was Italian chicken. The children enjoyed their chocolate milkshakes. The total cost for 4 meals and 4 drinks was $71.00, a bit pricey but the experience in the courtyard was enjoyable.

We recently went to a 50th Birthday party that was catered by this company. Once the food started coming out, everyone couldn't stop talking about how delicious it was! The catering service offered a lot of great qualities, including tasty food, prompt service, friendly staff, a wide variety of options, and best of all, everything was made from scratch and fresh. If you're in need of catering, look no further - I have never had such high-quality food and service for a home event. I will definitely be recommending them to others!

Inside the National Film and Sound Archives, this recently opened cafe opens onto a charming interior garden quadrangle. Great for a coffee and snack if you happen to be passing by. Next time I might ask if Maverick or Iceman are around.
