The Gods Cafe - Canberra

Service was ok , nothing special . Price over the roof for uni cafe. Coffee was bad , latte with cappuccino froth and tasted bitter . Music loud and boring .....

The food was very poor and the drinks prices very high. The staff were very abusive and rude. A misunderstanding about a $3.00 charge for a pastry resulted in an angry and threatening outburst from the owner.

If You are standing at the door, go on in and try it. The food is average, service average, surroundings average, chances of future existence average. Burgers, salads and daily mains. Eggs and Swedish style breakfast looked good. I had an Asian salad and a smoothie. Neither struck me as anything special. But I was with a client, and he wanted to eat.

I need coffee (and lots of it) each morning. So when I travel it can be hard to find a good coffee place without lots of trial and error.God's was recommended so I gave it a go. Great taste, and a perfect temperature. This will now be my place of choice!

Food wasn't amazing but the only dish that stays in my memory is **** mary linguine, it's not really good but it's a classic flavour that would not go wrong. like tomato sauce with a bit of heat as there's tobasco in it. simple and not bad. and very nice atmosphere.
