Wood & Coal - Canberra

The food was decent, the staff was friendly, and the open kitchen allowed for a great view of the chef at work. The food was delicious, with a wide selection of beverages to choose from. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience.

We arrived without a booking for lunch with a rather large group. The staff were extremely accommodating and well versed on what was on offer. The food was well prepared and presented and tasted amazing. The staff again were constantly asking if we needed anything else and if everything was to our liking.The presentation of the restaurant was excellent as was the entire experience. Thank you to all of the lovely staff at Wood and Coal for a great lunch and enjoyable experience!

Went with two friends and we ordered 3 of the spit roasts - chicken, pork and lamb. All were fantastic with my favourite being the pork. Service was great and attentive. The meals were a perfect size for three hungry people but our discipline was slack and we had dessert as well! Delicious!!!!Can't wait to return!

Wonderful staff that are attentive at all times.Had the best lamb dish ever with a great salad fantastic.Would definately return to sample more of their great menu.

Absolutely amazing. Every thing we ate was full of flavour. Service was wonderful, everyone was lovely. Best steak I've had in a long time
