Yowani Bistro @ Yowani Country Club

Absolutely beautiful golf course. Extremely picturesque & a great challenge for golfers of all standards. It also has a well stocked pro shop for those of us that like to have a shop. Afterwards we had lunch in the clubhouse & had Chicken Snitzel with Chips & Salad for $19 & it was enough to share between two of us!

Good choice of food to pick from, good service and reasonably priced. The drinks are also reasonable. There is plenty of parking.

We had our Work Christmas Party at the Yowani Club in 2015. It was $33.50 per head for food, plus an extra $15 for bowls. The write up sounded like a fancy BBQ. It was hardly fancy and it was hardly worth the money. The tables were like those basic plastic, enamel table tops you get in high schools with some basic table coverings. The food was self serve from one of those Isosceles trapezoid shaped tables (again, just like you see in high schools). This had a couple of big plates with sausages and steak (which looked like a something from a basic home BBQ) and then some bowls of salad. The condiments were bottles of Tom Sauce, BBQ sauce and seeded mustard. Those who had the vegetarian option were supplied with what looked like a vego pasty plonked on a plate. The ingredients were lovely, but certainly not worth $33 a head. The bowls; we went to the bar where they told us to go and get the balls from the shed. We had an instructor who gave very basic instructions on how to play the game, which left most feeling very confused. Again... not worth $15 a head. Over all. Not worth the money. If I wanted a back yard BBQ for the Christmas party I would have asked staff to supply $15 a head and gone to the lake. Definitely not recommending this place to anyone.

Our sports club had a buffet dinner for 50 at Yowani. While not the most salubrious venue the quality of the food was pretty good. Very limited wine list. Staff were helpful and cheery. The place lacks any real atmosphere but is serviceable for this type of venue.
