We ordered during our stay to eat for shabbat and lunch and let him deliver to the pine. the delivery was on time, the food was delicious and the service was great. the tacos were exceptionally good, we ordered them back for our trip to home. have ridden the schnitzelsalat and the Schnitzel-Pita and French. all very tasty. for shabbat we had a delivery over an hour before shabbat began. we had hummus, challa, salat, Moroccan salmon and teriyaki salmon as well as carving and roasted veggis. all well packed and stayed well in the refrigerator for the next day. definitely recommend to enjoy lunch in their room or pool. thanks!
My family and I visited the Chabad Centre of Cancun for Shabbas dinner in the summer of 2013. We had such a fantastic time as the Kosher meal, prepared by the Rebbetzin was incredible and both she and her husband Rabbi Mendel Druk were so...welcoming. What a beautiful opportunity to connect with other Jews while on vacation and daven, in an incredibly deep and meaningful way, in a tropical setting. Don't miss out on this opportunity and get to the Chabad Centre in Cancun for Shabbas dinner on your next vacation there! Kevin Zeilig
This was the better option for kosher eating in cancun. the two restaurants red heifer and dag dag were not good (see my reviews of them on travel advisers). however, the menu is extremely limited during the Yeshiva week; only one option and quite all. meat or chicken (there was falafel one night). the problem is not everyone can eat meat or chicken. also children are sometimes picky eating and like the option not. t would be great to have a fish or vegan option too. that said, I appreciate that I have the opportunity to have food delivered to our apartment. the first time was eating excellent, the other times, just in order. it would be wonderful if the Chabad community in cancun could bring their act together so that religious visitors can enjoy a selection of food during their visit. this can be a great option, but not during the Yeshiva week when a complete menu is available and kosher cancun is not overwhelmed. fortunately, for my children I brought food from the states so that we could make it. Otherwise, it would have been quite difficult because the kosher selection of food during the Jahiva week is very limited.
