La Destileria - Cancún

The Spicy Mad Salmon was very good. It wasn’t too spicy for me (and I don’t try to get spicy dishes, I just love salmon). My companion got the Bull Shot Steak. He couldn’t get over how good it tasted. And he is a choosy...eater. We finished the meal with flan. It was a large serving and very, very good! I can’t comment on the alcoholic drinks, but they are likely made with the same excellence and pride their food is. Marco was our excellent waiter backed up by many caring helpers..

For another larger restaurant to be demolished. sad to see it. was a great location and personal eating were excellent. tequila tour was fun and informative.

When we cancun visit every year, we go at least once a week to la distilleria. eating is excellent. they used to bring a tuna dip as a free appetizer. my favorite! and fresh chips and salsa. I get almost always the bullshot steak. and my man loves the molcaheti. Drinks are big and well made. the mariachi performers are always entertaining and the personal is fun and competent. I went on this side to see if I could find a recipe for her warm maiscake. have not found it everywhere. we also bring our guests there and always had a good meal and a good time.

Best Mexican food in Cancun! Their margaritas are incredible!!!! Been there many times and never disappoints, service it’s top notch, their rib eye molcajete is delicious. Must visit when in Cancun”

Our table enjoyed great margaritas, guac, tacos, mix grill skewers, milanesas. Service was fun but slow to start. We arrived before sun down and it was hot inside. Once the sun went down it was pleasant but still stuffy. Mariachis were perfect and took requests. No kids menu but ours adapted so mind that. When in Cancun again we will be back.
