They made sure that our order was separated (I am not GF) and they had delicious mai and fried rice options for him. We also requested GF Tamari soy sauce. Would definitely eat again! The sushi rolls were delicious!
Make sure you watch carefully how sometimes they go on autopilot and use normal soy sauce. But once we said something, they were very careful.
Had a wonderful dinner at Mikado a few nights ago! I was nervous coming to Cancun that my options will be limited as there are very few options listed on the app. I started researching and calling and came across Mikado. This is a Hibachi style restaurant and both the waiter and cook took my condition seriously. While it was a common table with Hibachi style, the cook, Fernando (he was fantastic!!! cooked my food first in gluten-free soy sauce and served me before he began to prepare the rest of the table. I had no problems and would recommend this restaurant to anyone who comes to Cancun.
