The food at this restaurant was fantastic! The Scallop thin crust pizza was cooked perfectly - crispy and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. A fresh lemon was squeezed over the pizza before biting in, adding a refreshing touch. The Piccolo size was just right for one person. I started with a small homemade tomato soup that was to die for, and enjoyed a glass of Sangiovese wine. For dessert, I had a molten chocolate salted caramel treat with a cup of coffee, although the coffee was not as good as the meal. It was clear that it was not made using a French press or equivalent method. Our waitress, Sabrina, was prompt and polite, enhancing our dining experience with her fantastic service. I will definitely be coming back to this restaurant, as my son and husband also had incredibly delicious meals.
There is no justification for why a casual meal of pizza and beer should be so expensive. Piazzetta falls short of being comparable to Bottega or Pizzeria Napoletana in Little Italy. It tries to portray itself as something it is not. Ultimately, it is just a pizza place in the South Shore that is disappointing.
Have fun with family or with friend. Normand is a devoted owner. Have a good embiance a great pizza. Pizza are refine pizza.
Very chiq location, great service and have enjoyed the food a few times. Really enjoyed their Siciliana pizza with some extra hot oil!
