Le Blue Lagoon - Canet-en-Roussillon

Our favorite restaurant was closed so we tried this one. We had no information on this restaurant because I had forgotten to take my mobile phone with me. We choose the daily menue. as a starter we took the moules with aioli. We both were...surprised it was fresh prepared with a nice salad underneith with dressing. Afther that the main course was loup de mer with rice and vegetables. Also made from fresh ingredients and tasted very well. The dessert was a panacotta home made high in taste. So we were both surprised but the biggest surpise was the bill of € for persons with half a liter of rosé. We payd the day before the same amount for one course with all stuff lousy except for the meat that was good and well prepared. This one I can highly recommend in a place like Canet Plage. Our favorite retaurant is still les Vedettes but you pay more than double this amount.

I had a lovely beer with my husband but when we came back for dinner, we were absolutely disappointed (I almost said disgusted) with the food. The sangria, which they called made home fait a maison--came out of a bottle like it was grape juice and...tasted worse. The water they served smelled like fish. And the food was garbage. Stop for a coffee or a drink but keep walking down the block and away from the beach for good food. The servers are very nice and friendly. NOT their fault, it's bad and yes, it's also slow.

I have an average grasp of the French language and I make a lot of effort to show respect and speak French. It has served me well on many French vacations. We stopped by hoping for some classic French fish cuisine. Having ordered the food,...we were told the fish wasn’t available. I opted for the “Butcher’s Steak”. What arrived was a poor quality beef burger without the bread and frozen French fries with a single lettuce leaf. The real disappointing element was the The mood of the guy waiting tables, he just clearly doesn’t want to be here! He just pulled a face every time I spoke French and muttered broken English at me. I will not subject my family to this total dis respect again.

We ate here on a day out from Perpignan. Not sure where to start but the service was oh so slow. I realise that people take their time over meals in France but we waited a ridiculously long time. It took ages to get served...in the first place and then we had a wait of over minutes for our first course to arrive. Another wait ensued for our next course and our meal had taken so long that we had missed our intended bus back to Perpignan. In order not to miss the following bus (which would then have meant a two hour wait for the next) we had to actually miss the dessert that we had already paid for as part of our meal! The food was only average when it arrived. Altogether a disappointing and frustrating experience. I certainly wouldn't go back

Après midi gris donc on décide de manger une crêpe on regarde et on s'assoie et commande une crêpe au sucre (classique) et une gaufre.le café et le thé arrive avec la crêpe ou je devrait dire une pâte dure avec peu de sucre bref je me suis force a la manger quand a la gaufre impossible de la manger très très sèche et tous droit sortie du congélateur mais depuis deux heures on la laisse .on la dit au serveur qui s'en fout littéralement .au vue de cette expérience attention a votre assiette le vrai attrape touristes.
