Steak On The Rocks - CANLEY HEIGHTS

"Just food", nothing special about this place. If you have never tried before steaks on the rock then it is okay. Can be crowded

I should have got Asian because the steak was terrible... it came out defrosted so still a little bit frozen. So letting a frozen steak cook on the stone doesn't turn out very great. No flavour and the meat turns out tough. The carrots and broccoli were rock hard I thought I was going to break a tooth. Mash was very bland. I think the mushroom sauce was the only winner. Also flies kept landing on me or near my food which was bothering me too. I hope you could provide better food but I won't be coming back.

My husband ordered the steak and said it was a frozen then thawed piece (as opposed to a fresh steak). I ordered a wonton noodle soup and they brought out my meal 20 mins after my husband's, and they got the dish wrong (just a bowl with wontons). The space inside was cramped and the waitstaff were clueless.

Fresh steak cooked just the way I like it .. by me! The meat was fresh and the salad and chips also equally enjoyable. So cheap! Anyone who complains about this place must be nuts! Normally you don't get a decent steak anywhere for under $30 but here you do. Definitely great value for the money. I can't wait to go back!

Food was good. Price was ok. Restaurant had a nice atmosphere and quite spacious. Staff was nice and provided good service. I liked how they had both vietnamese and western food.
