Great service and the location is to die for. Great prices and the meal was excellent. Strongly recommend it to anyone!
We stopped off for lunch here as it looked quite appealing as we walked by.The food was very good, I had a pizza and my wife had sardines. Both were delicious and very reasonably priced. The service was good and the staff very friendly. The only criticism would be the noise from the passing traffic, especially the very loud motor cycles.I would recommend this restaurant as a good place to eat, it is located slightly away from the hustle and bustle of the main town, the sea front cafes and the old town restaurants and is just across the road from a wonderful public beach.
Besides the Croisette, Cannes has one more boulevard: Boulevard du Midi Jean Hibert. At number 28 you’ll find Italian Caffe. Not a café but a restaurant. We ordered 2 Cote de veau Milanaise, well chosen according to the waiter. We couldn’t believe our eyes when the plates arrived: on each plate two veal cutlets of enormous dimensions and in between a portion pasta that easily could feed two persons. The quality of the food was okay but quantity too much.
We popped in for breakfast on the way into town. Area was quiet and some locals were enjoying coffee. We ordered without even looking at the menu and 2x petit dejuner arrived at €7.50 each. The orange juice was very fresh and the highlight. Decent spot with great views. Worth a visit if you are exploring that end of town.
