Feedback gevenEvery time we stay in Cannes we eat here at least once. Great quality dishes, good service and not too pricy. If u like Indian don't hesitate.
Tasty food with great variety of options. It was fresh. Quality and quantity both were fantastic. We will definitely visit again in future and refer to others. Very nice ambiance and loving hospitality.
We got sceptical when at arrival we were the only guests but had booked so went inside. The tables are tiny and we sat in a corner. The staff were dressed in street jackets and it felt cold inside. Fortunately a heater was running right above us.The ordering and serving was a bit clumsy but very friendly! We had intended to only order two dishes but due to language misunderstanding we got three different lamb dishes. They got served in nice small porcelain tubs but really cold and indeed quite small (so good we got three). The rice came on a flat dish and was cold within minutes. Plates were also cold. We asked for some slight background music and the staff towards the end were congregating around the bar and the sound system with the backs to us.The tastes were OK but all not hot and nan bread was dripping with oil.All in all with two Tiger beers a bottle of water came to a chilling 75,- Euro!I love Indian food but would not go back here. Maybe in the summer when busy it's better but still overall impression was poor.
A wonderful restaurant, excellent service , authentic Indian taste , stomach filling , &value for money experience . We tried chicken , mutton , prawn , naan & rice . All was good . In cannes , this is the BEST
Had a meal recently at Le Punjab for the first and last time. The staff were friendly and the food was was probably the tastiest we've ever had at an Indian restaurant. During our meal my wife an I agreed that although the interior of restaurant was very basic, the food was amazing and that we would definitely go back once more before leaving Cannes. That was before we seen the state of the toilet facilities and kitchen. On returning from the very very basic rest room I peered through a small window into the kitchen and was disgusted by what I saw. The kitchen equipment looked old and filthy with bits of food lying all over the floor. My wife also discovered the same when she went to use the rest room. We left the Punjab very dissapointed andworried that we would have a bad case of deli belly the next day, thankfully we did not !!! This could be a great restaurant but needs a major face lift to the kitchen and interior. No excuse acceptable for the filthy conditions of the kitchen.
