Went for lunch midweek. Interesting menu; definitely beyond the norm. Service was very good. The food was excellent and we really enjoyed it. Also a very good drinks menu. Highly recommended.

We love to eat here. My husband can point to anything on menu and know it is safe to eat. Excellent service, friendly atmosphere and good food. Come and try it, you can't tell its G f. Lovely patio on roof overlooking valley.

During our 18-day driving tour of Nova Scotia, we were getting bored with "Canadian food", whatever that means. Thus, Crystany's was a breath of fresh air. The food was delicious and the style was true bistro creativity. Everything was delicious, even though the menu was gluten-free.

Perfect for a celiac! Lots of seating inside & out. Lovely service. Bathroom was amazing. Prices were good. Yummy food!

This is a very classy restaurant in a sleepy Nova Scotia town. Hungry after hiking Cape Split, we entered Crystany's not knowing what to expect other than local draft beer. Here's the bottom line. We met three people; our server, the Chef (Michael), and the assistant Chef (Rodney). Pretty good service and superb food. Our group had chowder, mussels, cheese grits, the amazing gluten free bread, the sizzling mushrooms, and the fish and chips. Every dish was a winner. HIGHLY recommended!
