Feedback gevenThe restaurant used to be a wonderful carvery, but it has now transformed into a fancy steakhouse. The atmosphere is upscale and somewhat intimidating. During my visit, I felt disrespected and unwelcome. If you are not prepared to spend a lot of money, I would recommend avoiding this place. It seems to cater more to dignitaries and high-end clientele.
The food, service, and staff at this restaurant were all disappointing. I ordered gammon with egg and chips, but only received the gammon and egg. By the time the chips were finally brought out, the rest of my food was already finished. It sat on the table for a while before being served to me. Overall, I do not recommend this place.
I stopped at this restaurant for a carvery after shopping, but was shocked when the chef served me the tiniest pieces of meat that were even smaller than a child's portion. He even took a small piece back off the plate. It felt more like a snack than a proper lunch. If you're hungry, I would recommend skipping this place. Additionally, the restaurant was not very clean.
Sticky horrible tables, food was dry, bland and overcooked. The only saving grace was decent homemade pizza.
Absolutely filthy place totally rundown offered a booth with the seats all ripped carpet is sticking to your shoes when we asked to move they placed us on a table with odd sized chairs and the table was sticky and unclean staff unhelpful and awkward
