The Loft 89 - Cannock Chase

This restaurant is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff is very friendly, and the customer service was outstanding. The cocktails were fantastic. Definitely recommend paying a visit.

We visited the restaurant on Friday and Saturday nights. On Saturday night, it was very cold so we ended up having cocktails while still wearing our coats, as mentioned by another reviewer. The atmosphere was lacking due to the emptiness and harsh neon lights. The cocktails were decent and the shots were enjoyable. The ceiling, similar to Rosi's, was made of office tiles which gave the impression of being in a workspace rather than a restaurant, with added neon lights and pink string lights. Unfortunately, the heating was broken.

I used to frequent this restaurant regularly, but my recent visits have been disappointing. I had made a reservation for 9pm and was surprised to find the place almost empty. However, once seated, I quickly realized why - the bar was extremely cold. It wasn't enjoyable to drink cocktails while wearing my coat.

The cocktails tasted like water, I had to double check they hadn’t made mock tails by accident! Awful atmosphere, terrible service. Will not be coming back again, waste of £12 I couldn’t even drink the pina colada it tasted genuinely awful.

To many people was not asked for contact details for track and trace, no social distance tables to close together and when asked if we could have the table moved for social distance was informed no. Food is terrible and for the price. Long wait for food and drinks and service is very poor.
