The atmosphere was average as well. Overall, I would rate the food a 2, service a 3, and atmosphere a 3. The price per person is around £60-70.
This restaurant was disappointing to say the least. The food was terrible - overpriced prawns, burned calamari, and a cheeseboard with a brown apple and hard cheese straight from the fridge. The "triple cooked chips" were soggy and overall the meal was a disaster. It's no surprise the place was empty. On the plus side, our server was fantastic - very friendly and accommodating. Considering the price we paid, we could have had a much better meal at Miller and Carter or a nice restaurant in Birmingham. We all feel like we were ripped off.
Upon entering the restaurant, I was completely ignored by the staff. After waiting 5 minutes, I had to go find someone to seat me. Even then, I didn't receive a menu right away and had to wait another 10 minutes for a server to take my order. Overall, the service was extremely poor. The meal was for dinner, and the price per person was around £20-30. I would rate the service as a 1 out of 10.
An excellent meal, delicious desserts, including a vegetarian a gluten free, enjoyed by us all. First time I've been there but will certainly return. Not very good parking facilities, bit iggledy piggledy dark but meal made up for it. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
