I loved creating your own Omelet and the service was wonderful. Very friendly staff.

This charming little restaurant is located at the corner of the main road leading to the Royal Gorge Bridge. I ordered the Cowboy Steak Ribeye, which was quite large, but unfortunately, I had requested it to be cooked medium and received it well done and somewhat dry instead. Given that it cost $33, I found this quite disappointing. The restaurant quickly filled up, and with only one server handling six tables, our service was rather slow. Despite this, it wasn't a bad place to dine—the waitress was very courteous and energetic, though she seemed a bit overwhelmed. This is why I rated it 4 out of 5.

Absolutely fantastic food! I had the all-you-can-eat fish fry, which came with delicious pinto beans and hush puppies. I tried both a giant piece of catfish and a generous portion of cod, each with its own crunchy and tasty breading. I could only finish one serving—there was so much food! My husband ordered the brisket sandwich, which he said was incredibly tender and the best he’s ever had, even compared to Texas brisket. It was paired with crinkle fries that complemented the meal perfectly. Our daughter enjoyed the special biscuits and gravy, devouring it quickly before we were done. The atmosphere was inviting, with stunning mountain views and charming homemade tables. There’s also a bar with comfortable lounge seating, and the restrooms were spotless. The wonderful staff consistently checked in on us. We absolutely loved this restaurant!

This restaurant is a fantastic spot to dine. The owner and waitress were exceptionally friendly. I really enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich—it was delicious. They even set up a table with drinks and a flag in a triangle to honor our 13 fallen soldiers. God bless them.
