The At The Quality Inn - Cañon City

I was informed two months in advance, during a direct phone call, that we would have a king bed. I also mentioned that we would be bringing our dog. However, upon checking in, we were told that no king beds were available for guests with pets. I was never offered a lower rate. We have family in Canon and visit a few times a year, but I won't be staying there again. Additionally, I was concerned about safety since there were no landline phones in the rooms.

It's a bit awkward meeting people after everything that’s happened, but I’m grateful for the support and acceptance I received during the first hour after my surgery. The memories of this place from my childhood are wonderful, especially the bars on Mr. and Miss P's windows. I took comfort in treating myself to some indulgences. At least the bars aren’t on the old pop machine! I learned some important lessons in Room 272, thanks to my old friend Mr. Jim Riddle, the "Belt Man." We are indeed the Men of the Belt.

This was my second stay at this hotel this year, and I had previously provided feedback about unpleasant odors in some of the rooms, specifically pointing out that the air filters in the air conditioning units needed cleaning—quite frankly, it was gross. Unfortunately, four months later, nothing has improved. The first room I stayed in had a noticeable urine smell, while the second room was acceptable but still suffered from the same air quality issues. It's disappointing because this place is generally more affordable, which might be contributing to the problem. A significant improvement in quality control, particularly in the bathrooms, would make a big difference.

Front desk personnel were very friendly and informative. Room was clean and beds were comfy. Pool side rooms were an awesome option. The pool itself wasn’t bad for an outside pool, the ladder was broken which made me a little nervous with the kids. Breakfast was delicious! Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and waffles along with other assorted continental breakfast items made for a great variety. All in all a good stay for the price.

Absolutely One of the worst hotels I've ever been to. I travel 310 days out of the year. That's 310 hotels. Absolutely dirty room. I'm bald. There's hair in my sink. There is hair all over my bathroom floor. I ruin my shirt from the iron. It has some black plastic or something all over it. The apple juice was watered down. The waffles were watered down. No meat at for breakfast except for gravy biscuit. Sliding door windows all the way around are extremely dirty on all of hotel windows. Most of the trash cans outside are overflowing. And I never give bad reviews. I think five in the last 3 years. No pictures because I just want to leave. I love to see people succeed but this was ridiculous. The ice machine where the laundry is was flooded on the first floor. And I have almost 40 million people following me ? bad night and morning
