Canoochee Catfish

We love to go to Canoochee Catfish. My husband has tried different fish meals and the steak...enjoying all of them. I tried shrimp and oysters They were very good but once I ordered the grilled salmon with grilled vegetables and a bowl of buttered grits, that has become my go-to meal. Their grilled salmon is the BEST on the PLANET!!! No other restaurant's salmon can compare to their's. NONE, Period. We shall return. Prices are fair; especially when you know you will get a good meal and leave satisfied. (We live an hour away and gladly make that drive.

Small, friendly restaurant. My husband wanted to try it, so we did. Normally, I would not order catfish when eating out but how could you not in a place called the Canoochee Catfish ?? We like our seafood fried, so that's how we ordered it. I had the catfish and clam straps. Hubby had that plus scallops. The prices are pretty reasonable. Meals come with 2 sides-we had a baked potato and coleslaw. Also comes with hushpuppies. All In All a pleasant experience. Servers were very nice and took good care of us. I think there are a lot of regulars since many were addressed by name. It was a busy Thursday eve there. They have limited hours, so check before you go! Enjoy!

Don't eat here UNLESS you want the best food, the best service and most courteous people to deal with. Good is prepared fresh and hot. This place is a real family atmosphere and a real enjoyment to dine at.
