Casa Molina - Canovelles

Nice small town restaurant, the surroundings are calm and there is a little church nearby. We came here for lunch, unfortunately there weren't many choices, but we did enjoy our bread with ham.

Visited every time we are in Santa Pola. Great little find, in Valverde village/hamlet, everyone in town surrounding areas know of it, the buffet smorgasboard is legendary, as are the daily specials menu; very good tapas. Even on-the-bone jamon, which the barman cuts very fine slivers. Seating inside at the bar area, a more formal dining room adjoining, or upstairs, or outside in the spacious annexe terrace, it can be busy. Annual fiesta time, it is inundated with patrons, tables are set up in the plaza and live-music band dancing) is the entertainment. Prices are reasonable.
