Kings Fish - Canterbury

You wouldn't expect to find delicious sushi at a fish and chip shop, but Kings Fish Bar exceeded our expectations. We have been enjoying their fish and chips for a while now, and decided to try out their Japanese dishes. The selection of sushi was excellent, especially the prawn dishes. The service was top-notch as well. Kings Fish Bar truly offers much more than just fried fish.

The sushi is very tasty and at great value. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. Recommended!

I ordered sushi from Kings Fish Bar tonight and it was amazing! The sushi was fresh and bursting with flavor. The crispy breaded prawns were a standout. I will definitely be returning. And I also discovered that there is a 10% discount on Mondays to Thursdays, which was a nice surprise!

Visiting Herne Bay for a week we came across this chip shop on our first evening as it was near where we were staying. It wasn’t our first choice but we are glad we chose it as it was the nearest meaning we would eat them hot. Myself and husband ate every scrap. We had two cod and a medium chips. We were greedy as really there were too many chips. They were so good we also had them on our last night too and we’re not disappointed.

As a local resident, I was intrigued to see that this restaurant offered sushi on their menu. I decided to give it a try and was extremely impressed. I sampled dishes such as red tiger prawns, spicy tuna, Alaska, and seaweed salad. However, my only complaint is that the prices listed on the shop board were lower than the prices in the menu leaflets. Despite this discrepancy, the staff were friendly and the fish and chips were delicious. It's a hidden gem that I don't want too many people to know about, as I prefer not to wait in long queues for my food.
