Kudos - Canterbury

The service at this restaurant was very friendly and fast. We had intended to dine in, but the restaurant was undergoing renovation so they were only offering takeaway. As visitors from the United States, I had heard that Chinese food in England was different than what I was used to. I decided to play it safe and ordered sweet and sour chicken, which was delicious and very similar to what I have had at home, but cleaner and fresher tasting. I regretted not ordering a side of rice to go with it. My husband ordered cashew chicken and special fried rice, but he didn't enjoy it as much as my choice. The special rice was good and fresh, but we missed the flavors of onion, garlic, and soy sauce. However, I doubt there is another place nearby that does it better. We would definitely return and recommend ordering an extra entree or side if you have a big appetite. Despite the loud volume, the fun French music playing in the lobby added to the enjoyable atmosphere. Overall, good value for the price.

This was my first visit to this restaurant, but I only got takeout. The decor was amazing and there was a bar where I could have a drink while waiting for my food! I can honestly say that this was the best Chinese food we have ever had in Canterbury. We will definitely be returning.

We recently tried the takeout from this restaurant and absolutely loved it. The medium spicy salt and pepper squid was exceptional, the best we've had in Europe. All of the other dishes we tried were also very good. This place offers the best Asian food we've had in Canterbury. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Lovely food usually. Very disappointing half crispy duck takeaway yesterday though. The duck seemed like it was bought in pre shredded. Not a bit of crispiness and little flavour. It definitely wasnt from a recently cooked duck. Eight pancakes but barely enough sauce for 4. Why not be generous with the sauce. It was £19.99 for the dish, so why be so tight with the sauce? If you like crispy duck, get it elsewhere
