Feedback gevenThere was a guy in a wheelchair talking about killing himself outside when we were ordering. I'd say it suits the experience of eating at Pizza Hut. 5 stars. The food was alright but our student's home's night guard liked it.
I have been coming to this restaurant for over five years and have never encountered any issues. The food is consistently good and they always have great deals.
Do not order pizza from this restaurant. The food was completely uncooked and cold, and it took them over 2 hours to deliver. The driver was not wearing a mask, as he should have been due to COVID-19 regulations. I also saw the driver outside my house before he delivered, sitting in his car smoking a cigarette for 5 minutes while my family's food was in the car. When I called to speak to the manager and explain the issues, I was accused of being racist and insulted.
This was my first time ordering from a takeout restaurant in Canterbury on New Dover Road, not on the High Street. We ordered two herb garlic chicken dipper boxes for £9.99 and initially tried to order a medium pizza, but were advised that a meal deal would be cheaper. So, we ended up getting a large Supreme pizza with original crust and a Ben and Jerry's ice cream. I paid by card and provided my full address, and was told the food would arrive in up to 45 minutes. After 35 minutes, we received a phone call saying the delivery driver was at the wrong address. Despite giving clear directions over the phone, the driver still struggled to find us, even though we had described our location and car in detail. The food itself was mediocre - the chicken dippers were decent with sweet chilli dip, but the pizza was mostly crust with sparse toppings and overly greasy. None of the food was hot, including the melting ice cream. I decided not to tip the drivers as their service did not meet expectations.
Food missing from my order (placed over 2 hours ago now), so called to ask for the rest of the food to be delivered. Then called store again and was told that the food wouldn’t be delivered because the ‘driver didn’t want to’. I then spoke with store manager who told me they wouldn’t issue a refund over the phone and couldn’t do anything about it. Terrible service. If you pay for food you expect what you paid for to be delivered. No refund for me I’m guessing....Do not recommend!
