The Dolphin - Canterbury

We had a large booking of 36 people for a work Christmas party. Very easy booking process and we were essentially given the front of the pub to ourselves. The food was excellent, great tasting and decently portioned. Stuart, Emma and all the staff were friendly, attentive and provided a first class service. I could not recommend more.

I had a fantastic lunch at this restaurant. The prices were high, but the food was excellent and definitely worth it. The cozy little pub was beautifully decorated for Christmas. The staff were not very talkative in the evening, so I wouldn't stay for drinks. I would definitely return to this restaurant, but only for the food.

First time visit for myself but my partner had been before. Great suggestion of hers as food was excellent, especially the gigantic onion rings! They keep a cracking Guinness and the staff are really friendly…we’ll be back!

This restaurant used to be a nice pub, but the service has become awful. There is no system in place, nobody seems to know what to do, and there is only one poor girl behind the bar trying to do everything while the other staff stand around chatting. The food was decent once we were able to order it, but we will not be returning as it is the most disorganized pub we have ever visited.

Place was still as cosy. Still with board games to make it a more ‘social’ venue than most. Staff were overall polite and on hand. The food was poor to previous visits Max and cheese with pesto was just pesto. Al you could taste. And pasta way over cooked. Cheese was tasteless. Chilli nachos had no chilli. But were still enjoyed. Prices very reasonable. Worth a visit but need to put the effort back into the food
