Burgess Grills Family - Canton

I discovered this restaurant while searching on Google this afternoon, and I was happily surprised! It has a quirky, retro atmosphere, and the food was amazing! Additionally, the two sisters who manage the place were incredibly kind, providing excellent service. Forget about chain restaurants—let's support local businesses!

The food and service are exceptional! I particularly enjoy coming here for breakfast. The prices are fantastic, and I always leave feeling completely satisfied.

I would consider this restaurant a hidden gem in Canton. It's rare to find a place that not only serves authentic homemade food but also has wonderful owners who are always present and a talented cook who creates delicious meals. It's a special experience to meet the person who prepared your food. Personally, I think that's fantastic. They serve the best sausage gravy and biscuits I've ever had, along with some of the finest omelets around. My son and I make it a point to dine here once a week. The menu is extensive, and the atmosphere is delightful. The owners and the cook make you feel like part of their family; they go out of their way to know their customers by name and are genuinely engaged. Every time I visit and try something new from the menu, I'm never disappointed. Keep up the amazing work you do—it's truly appreciated!

I really enjoyed having lunch in a clean, warm, family atmosphered restaurant. I had the patty melt, one of the best ever. Perfectly sautéed onions, moist meat patty, Swiss cheese between two slices of butter crusted toast. Don’t forget the mayo. Awesome. Made by a wonderful cook (Reé that truly cares about your gustatory enjoyment. Actually, coming out the kitchen, asking, in checking on your satisfaction. I also met one of the sister-owners (Tonya of Burgess Grills Family Restaurant. She is a true delight. Tonya was very personable and attentive in conversation. Ensuring that customers were being taken care of by her personal assurance made for a gracious and wonderful experience. I would highly recommend in visiting, enjoying and maybe staying a while. Can’t wait to visit again, soon.
