Canton House Chinese

I will never return to this restaurant. They served us chips that seemed to have been sitting for a while before our food arrived. When I pointed it out to the server, she acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. I prefer Golden China over this place any day.

This restaurant is amazing! I have been coming here with my friend Reinhardt since our college days. Even though I now live in Jasper, I still make the 30-minute drive to enjoy a meal at Canton House. The spicy sesame chicken is definitely a crowd-pleaser!

I was not pleased with the meal at this restaurant. The sweet and sour chicken was a mess with sauce all over the place. The sesame chicken did not taste good and had a strange flavor. I only ate because we had already paid for the meal. The soup was the only highlight of the meal. Overall, the food was not worth the price, and the portion size was small.

I was there for lunch with a friend who had never eaten dim sum. While the dishes we were able to get were good. The selection was smaller than expected and cart service was just slow. Would I go again? I won't say I wouldn't but there are other dim sum restaurants in the area that I would prefer.

A horrible dining experience. Greeter was unfriendly almost discourteous. The food was brought out piece meal, my wife ate hers while I waited. The food was basically inedible. I could not eat the General Tso chicken. I am not a picky eater but this was really bad tasting food. I love rice. I could not eat the rice. It tasted like it was a day old and then nuked to warm it up. The ambience is not good. I don't like giving such a negative review but it really surprised me that a restaurant could be this bad and stay open. I suspect if they are ever inspected it won't go well for them. Needless to say I won't be returning.
