La Pergola - Capaccio

Got a mathematical question for the maitre: we are supposed to get ‘mixed’ sea-based appetizers. We 8 people sitting at same table. Every (every! serving comes with 6 portions/pieces. How to handle that ?! Asking for a friend. . Way to go for professional service, unfortunately.

Very nice terrasse restaurant, mostly visited by locals. Great service and excellent food. Terrasse is covered by winegrapes. The road proximity added to loung music of the adjacent bar may be a bit loudy though.

We have eaten at La Pergola many times and always return for the good food. This time we dropped in for a light lunch just after 13.00. We were the only table. Soon afterwards another two tables arrived. Despite the arrival of 6 guests on an extremely quiet day, a lady continued cleaning the patio with a high-power and very noisy machine. We asked the waiter if he could ask her to stop as the noise was quite annoying. No reaction. We moved inside and closed the door hoping to block out some noise... still no reaction. Had we not been very hungry we would have walked out. Anyhow, we ate very quickly and left. We are not returning. The service was simply appalling!

Complete map of proposals of sea and land. good products and dishes well executed. is a traditional cuisine that looks at the kitchen a little more modern. we tried both the sea and the ground courses and the bonus goes to the paccheri with the tuna geese, the aubergines to the parmigiana and the cavatelli. kind and attentive service. not beautiful location at the port of capaccio but the place is very nice and well kept. wide wine paper. good value for money. We'll be back
