La Nina - CAPANNORI

For me, the best place to eat in Italy, great food and friendly staff. been here 5 different years and it was always high quality. Many local families celebrate their special occasions here.

I could not speak fonder of La Niña and their employees. We went for dinner as a party of 16 which i respect can be difficult to cater for but the staff and the chefs absolutely smashed it. The menu is in Italian and it’s an authentic experience eating under the vines on their outdoor terrace however they explained the menu to us patiently. We had fillet steaks, homemade pasta, breads, pork shoulder and scallops and it was stupendous. Do not read any bad review here, it’s phenomenal. To finish such a fantastic experience, they had specially made a fruit sponge birthday cake for our birthday occasion, what more could you ask for?!

This restaurant has the best food I have tested in the Lucca Area. Every single thing is fresh. We tried a seabass with trouffles that was wonderful. Later the waiter arrives with a wooden box of fresh portobello mushrooms that were just being collected from the forest around. We ordered 4 of them and they were excellent. Also you con sleep there. It’s a great place.

Went fo business lunch Yesterday discussing about some problems we encountered in a recent project with our key supplier. Discussion went well after a usual great lunch with local Sausages gnocco fritto, pappardelle con l’ anitra. All served with a great Local wine.

La Nina is a truly memorable experience and one to be highly recommended for both tourists and locals alike. The restaurant itself is very impressive, the ambiance is very special and the service is impeccable. The menu has clearly been carefully thought through and everything I have tried was delicious and beautifully presented. Make sure you leave some room for dessert. If you are looking for amazing food in a special environment, this is the place.
