This is for the adventurous. I was here for lunch on a Friday. Around noon time.. My server Cheri was fantastic. Attentive ,able to quote the special of the day, answer my questions. The Gumbo was OUTSTANDING. It was almost as good as mine. It had just the right amount of roux. Along with shrimp, andouille, and chicken . The layer of flavor was great. It was spicy enough so you did not need to add more heat. Just enough to say aaahhhhh. The dish alone would make most Floridians cry big tears. The shrimp po boy is to die for….4 fresh off the boat large shrimp. Cooked to melt in mouth your texture. The sauce was just enough to compliment the shrimp. The cajun potatoes are so good.. So for all you wannabe Mardi Gras folks You MUST come here. You will not be disappointed in the cuisine.
The first time here, heard good things about Sunday brunch. I had the shrimps BLT. The service is excellent, the food is good. The music is an old jazz around Ragtime I enjoyed. I'll try to eat again and make my last review.
We celebrated our anniversary here with excellent service and food. Our server Delaney was very polite and also service with a smile! We must return again, the dual musician on 10/21/21 was great. We could dance and celebrate.
Came here for the first time today for brunch with friends for birthday. Love jazz music! Beignets were delicious! Had the Crab Cake Benedict and it was wonderfully spiced. Very recommended! Your taste buds thank you
My wife and I were in Brunch on Sunday. I am a little picky when it comes to claims of New Orleans style kitchen to Tulane Unv. and spent over 4 years in New Orleans. Slate but not disappointed. I had champagne – her "champagne that was her signature eggs Benedict. Two chopped eggs, with spinach, tomatoes, red onion and goat cheese, on a butter croissant. We had Mimosas and of course Beignets. Food and service were excellent from the moment we were greeted and during our culinary experience. A live jazz band played the whole stage. I look forward to going back for a taste of their dinner menu. Let us see from a wide range of seafood, including rubber bears, jambalaya, oysters, cancer and shrimp as well as steak, it will be difficult to choose.
