The wine options were excellent and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and provided efficient service. Highly recommended!
Although the menu is not extensive, it was still difficult to choose because all the dishes sounded delicious. We ended up ordering the garlic prawns, lamb, scotch fillet, and salmon fillet. Each dish was cooked to perfection. The dessert selection was also tempting, and we ultimately decided on the sticky date pudding, ooey gooey chocolate pudding, and strawberry brownie. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was pleasant. We will definitely be coming back.
My wife and I spent the night in our van on our way to AI and decided to dine at this restaurant. We were greeted by a friendly lady who seated us at our table. Unfortunately, there was no local wine available that night, so we opted for a lovely McLaren Vale red instead. The portions of food were generous; my wife thoroughly enjoyed her slowly cooked Ox Tail, however, my medium steak was closer to well-done. They brought out another steak that was cooked more to my liking, but I chose not to send it back. Regrettably, the promised pepper sauce never made it to our table despite my repeated requests. It's a shame that many businesses don't know how to turn unsatisfied customers into loyal supporters. Overall, worth a visit as there aren't many dining options in the area.
We were in the area and ate dinner here twice, as the food and hospitality was so wonderful. This restaurant was recommended by our B
Discovered this little coffee shop, what a find... scones are like gran use to make with real cream and jam! Loved it so much we came back for dinner! Food was home cooked and fresh. Staff were so friendly and welcoming ..they allowed us to stay as long as we wanted, without this side glances you get from some restaurants.... this is going to become our “ regular” stop when we are down this way
