Rockpool Cape Town

Rock Pool is the ideal spot for a summer day! I've been there a few times, and the food is always reliably good, especially considering the portion size and quality. Their salads, pizzas, tapas, and burgers are all impressive. While the service could be improved, it's consistently a great choice whenever I'm in the area.

The restaurant has a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere, but if you choose to dress up, you'll fit right in. I enjoyed the homemade iced tea, which was wonderfully refreshing. Their gin cocktails are the ideal drink to sip while enjoying the view of the bay—they look stunning too. One of our friends ordered the chicken strips and chips, and she found it very delicious (it looked great as well). I highly recommend RockPool as the perfect spot to unwind after a long day or to catch up with old friends over a few gin cocktails and delightful iced teas. I can’t wait to return for lunch soon!

First visit! I will definitely return! I just had a quick cocktail, the Long Island Iced Tea (R75). It was a bit pricey, but it came in a generous glass and was very well made. I'm looking forward to trying their food soon! I also appreciate that they use eco-friendly paper straws.

Last night I decided to come back to RockPool after a good year of not coming here. I was so happy to see that nothing has changed. The food is still fresh and good quality. The vibe is great. And the waiter was so attentive. A great place for Friday night dinner and vibes.

Had some burgers with my colleagues here. The food was alright, the service great and the general feel of the place was quite vibey. The outside section also looks onto the promenade although we were unlucky enough to be there when there was renovation in progress :
