The Striped Horse On Kloof - Cape Town

This is a relaxed spot in a Victorian-style house where you can grab a beer during the week. It's located in the vibrant Kloof Street area. The staff is incredibly caring and friendly. There’s a nice terrace to enjoy during the summer months. I highly recommend it for a laid-back drink!

The food was excellent. We visited on game night, and it was quite enjoyable. The prices were also reasonable.

Ah yes, the old Vic Bar! Recently renovated and now looking fantastic as The Striped Horse on Kloof, this is the perfect spot to catch some up-and-coming local music on a Wednesday night. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. It has that classic Cape Town vibe—relaxed and unpretentious, which I always appreciate when I visit. Be sure to stop by and sample the Striped Horse lager; you won’t regret it!

Such a great pub/Vic has a great interior, awesome well lit bar! Great out door seating with a view of table Mountain the striped Horse Beer is the best, off the tap and cold as ice fantastic

Under new management. Called 'Public House ' these days. Most employees are from the modular club, which closed down. So the vibe is a little different, and so I suppos are the prices. It 's not a techno club anymore, but defs still a good hangout spot.
