Cape Trib Beach House

We spent two nights at this hotel and I highly recommend it. The standout feature of this place is the Tides Restaurant and Bar. The menu offered an impressive selection and the quality of the dishes was exceptional. The drink options were also fantastic. Clem, the French chef, created dishes of such high quality that you'd expect to find in the finest restaurants around the globe. Even if you're not staying at the beach house, I would definitely suggest dining at Tides. Room rating: 4.

We wanted to have dinner somewhere, and since it was the off-season, this restaurant was apparently the only one open. We arrived before 6 PM and asked for a table for two. They initially said they could accommodate us right away, but then the rude head chef loudly declared that we should go elsewhere because he didn't want walk-ins that night. Despite this, we decided to order quickly since we were hungry. The food arrived in just two minutes and was of average quality. While we were paying, the head chef continued to shout about how we should go somewhere else since we didn’t have a reservation, which made us feel very uncomfortable. They claimed to be fully booked, but the restaurant was quite empty the whole time. The cocktails weren’t worth it either. On a positive note, the service was really good; it’s just unfortunate that the head chef was so unnecessarily rude. We won’t be returning.

I drove for hours with my wife and two young daughters to visit your restaurant. However, once we were seated, we were met with a stream of insults about our decision to dine there. The verbal abuse from your chef was deeply unsettling and made us, as well as other patrons, feel very uncomfortable. While the bar staff and waitresses were friendly, I cannot recommend this establishment.

Only had a meal. Very small piece of fish for $36. Rump was lovely. Good service

Chef was very rude to me and my family, endless barrage of insults and profanity. Complained that he didn’t want Walk-ins. Waiter was nice.
