Feedback gevenSunday evening dinner, restaurant packed, staff worked hard to deliver but the food was pretty poor and overpriced. Starter, fish soup, ok. Main a white fish with lemon sauce most unappetising, as it appeared a greyish slab, accompanied by soggy rice and a tasteless congealed white sauce. Pudding: stodgy tart with ‘cream’ squirted from a can. Hate to pass judgement on one visit, but ate much better on other evenings at other restaurants in town.
We moored up overnight opposite this restaurant and booked a table for four. The staff were very friendly and offered us the first drinks as complimentary. 9 oysters to start, filet de boeuf and selection of cheeses for desert all washed down with local red wine, lovely.
Pas mal pour un déjeuner au bord du Canal du Midi. Les plats sont délicieux, mais le service est très lent et mal organisé. Nous avons dû attendre 20 minutes pour pouvoir commander une carafe d'eau!

We were looking for a restaurant open on Sunday evening in the middle of winter, and we found the batelière. A good point for them! All the other restaurants around the corner were closed! located just by the Canal du Midi, this restaurant is very pleasant and offers a diversified menu. We eat very well. After on the road, a glass of porto, followed by a duck magret with fries, gave me a good job! The terrace was closed, it was too cold. but dinner on the channel from noon to spring or summer must be really nice!
