Chepalle - Capitan

This place used to serve great pizza, but my experience yesterday was disappointing. I ordered a half veggie and half meat lover pizza, but when I picked it up, it looked like a child made it, covered in cheap yellow cheese. I won't be returning! It was very disappointing, especially since it wasn't busy, so I know it wasn't due to being overwhelmed. It seems like the owner doesn't care!

Unlike its Italian namesake, Che Palle boasts a lively atmosphere along with great food and service. The salad greens were fresh—possibly grown at home?—and the green chili cheeseburger pizza was delicious with a nicely baked crust. Especially in Capitan, where classic Mexican dishes, burger joints, and diners abound, Che Palle stands out with its unique menu and culinary experience that is definitely worth a visit.

Wow, this is hands down the best pizza I've ever had (and I've eaten plenty of pizza in my life!). We had friends recommend it to us, saying we had to try it while we were in the city. I'm so glad we did! The restaurant has a wonderful decor, and our waitress was incredibly friendly. Don't miss out on the drive from Ruidoso!

We found this pretty cute place near the Smokey the Bear Museum. Excellent fresh hot pizza. Friendly service. Cool decor and great music inside. The signage is kind of hard to find, but definitely stop. Recommended!

Came into town for a softball tournament in Ruidoso in between games I stopped by this restaurant and let me tell you the experience here is just as good as the food. I had the Meat lovers pizza and I wish my stomach could hold more than the 4 pieces I ate. The waitress was honestly the best I've ever had hands down, she was on top of everything all the while training a girl who was new. As a first time customer she gave me a cookie that was amazing that the cook makes fresh. If you're in the area I would recommend checking this place out even if it's a bit of a drive for you, do yourself a favor and make the drive. I'll be coming back every time I'm in town, hell I'll probably go back tomorrow before I head back home.
