Casanova - CAPOLIVERI

Maybe we should try their pizza, but we ordered muscles broth was very salty and sword fish, that was spoiled by too much salt on the edges. Salad was made of big chunks of unripe, pinkish/green tomatoes although everywhere on the island you can buy dark red perfect tomatoes. Fried potatoes were salty too. Wine was okay although it was a strange choice for a house wine on Elba island it was from Orvieto which is in Umbria.

Excellent thin pizza, outstandingly flavored. Good choice of wines. Hosts do not speak any language except of Italian. nevertheless this language barrier doesn't spoil anything, but makes the atmosphere even better.

We visited Casanova several times during our stay on Elba July /August 2014. And every time was a pleasure with delicious food and excellent service.We do not speake italien and they do not speake english language. No problem. The positive attitude and finger language solved all problems.All dishes are delicious and absolute top value for money. Please remember to book a table in advance this place is very popular.

I've been to the ogo several times, always eating discreetly, but in my opinion the huge superpizza) always his strong piece. the atmosphere, especially in the dehors, really pleasant and relaxing. the girls at the table are very professional and the great service. Of course, it must be known to take, its jokes are always sharp and not everyone can understand them (I see other reviews a critical p.) overall a pleasant place to visit, you eat well and, if you eat in bona, you also like. the prices in the Elba average, which means a higher p than the continent but is known and accepted, considering that they work a few months a year.
