The food is unpretentious, home cooked using fresh, seasonal ingredients. The serves are abundant. We had lunch here and were truly taken aback by the flavours of the dishes, such as whole figs wrapped in prosciutto, zucchini flower fritters, arancini, bresaola and bocconcini parcels, crostini with chilli jam and shaved parmesan among the antipasto dishes. The signature dish, for which the chef won an award, of freshly made ravioli with eggplant filling (ravioli parmigiana) was to die for as was the baked sardine skewers (involtini di sarde). The restaurant is run by a dynamic family with a passion for food and a desire to serve dishes made of local ingredients in a creative way. A visit to this restaurant for a sit down meal or for takeaway is a must if you're in the area. You won't be disappointed!
