Excellent food service. Would definitely recommend. The outside looks a little run down but it’s a whole different atmosphere once you step inside. Friendly staff.

A local hotel staff person suggested that I visit the Hobbit Bistro for breakfast. She suggested one of the omelettes along with sampling their homemade jam. I was delighted that either a latte or espresso was included with the price of the breakfast. This was the best breakfast I had while in Quebec City.

I went to many restaurants on my stay in Quebec but Hobbit was by far my favorite. I enjoyed it in every way a restaurant can be enjoyed. The staff were so great and really went the extra mile to make sure I enjoyed my experience. The food was out of this world! I had the elk flank steak. To put it Simply, from the moment I walked in the door to the moment I left, I greatly enjoyed my experience. 5 stars!

Very charming place, very friendly staff, real Quebec crowd. And great food.

We would make a point to eat here every trip. The waitress was very helpful and the burgers were outstanding. They also have awesome Kombucha.
