Blanche - Carasco

We loved the fun, service and food at this local Ligurian pizza stop. The kitchen turns out the basic food items but the Pizza Man with his wood stove in the rear of the restaurant delivers large, fresh, hot individual pizzas to an appreciative local audience (Saturday is a zoo). As obvious tourists (no Italian) we were treated with great civility and respect. Until we had become regular diners we had a table away from the mob scene. But when we appeared more often we were seated in the main room with the soccer teams just back from practice. Excellent atmosphere and service. We always felt welcome and at home in this small town attraction.
