Visited on a week night. Wing night. Wings were **** on the inside. Hubby only ate one and barely touched a second. Told the waitress who offered to cook another batch. First was plenty and disgusting enough without a second go-around. Charged full price for wings. Not nice! This is an easy skip from our perspective. Time to up your game Sorrels!
1/2 hr east of Drumheller. Cannot find Carbon Ab to review but I see it listed under Drumheller. We went for Carbon Sports Day Enjoyed soccer, a pancake breakfast and parade and numerous village garage sales. Nice event! Built up an appetite later for lunch time. I have been wanting to check this one out for awhile and this was the opportunity. Our waitress was friendly and prompt bringing our orders and good with the grandson. Grandson had nachos and a spinach dip. He absolutely loved it and made sure to take leftovers home even though there was hardly any left. His dip was very different, cheesey and garlicy. The boy tends to be picky but it had him won over. He was very impressed. My friend had a burger and enjoyed it. I had fish and chips. Portions were good and we came out very satisfied. Will be going back any chance I get.
Well not overly sure on this one as it is not really family friendly, smelly, parking is an issue heard it was okay
The restaurant as noted in other reviews is NOT in Drumheller, but in Carbon, AB. We ordered a special and discovered in included a soup and salad bar. We also ordered something that was Not a special but for only 3.95 more we added the soup and salad bar. The vegetables of the day was a stir fry and a pleasant different offering. The presentation was good. Had the atmosphere of a country diner or homey meeting place. Good service.
