Fazoli's - Carbondale

Every time I've visited Fazoli's, the staff has always brought out the food and asked if we wanted cheese. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case during my visit at 8:40 PM on December 6, 2022. The gentleman taking orders at the counter really needs to be better trained or kept away from customers. It was a very disappointing experience.

Justin was the cashier, and he was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He helped make me feel comfortable as I took my time ordering, without any sense of being rushed. I would definitely return just for Justin's kind service!

I recently visited Carbondale, IL, and was thrilled to find a Fazoli's there. I thought they had all closed down after the one in Loves Park, IL, shut its doors many years ago! I ordered the lasagna, and it was absolutely delicious. I really wish they would open a location in Marietta or Kennesaw, GA!

Great Manager that works here. He was very polite. The food was good. The only reason I am giving 3 stars in the place is dirty. It needs a huge overhaul. The employees really should be cleaning when not busy. We couldn't get a lid for our drinksbecause they have the lids thrown in an open metal container which also had discarded straw papers in it from customers. Comeon! No way you don't know this. Get a lid holder. The table wasn't clean, and nobody brought around extra garlic bread eventhough I specifically asked an employee. There are areas of improvement and was surprised because the manager with the accentseemed to know his business.

The food was alright. Nothing special. Service was on the slower side and they brought my food out about 10 minutes before my friends even though we ordered at the same time. I don't like that.
