Meia Gaiola Lda - Carcavelos

I went to this restaurant for the first time with my family, unfortunately the waiter didnt want to listen when we asked for appetizers , always with an unfriendly face, then when we asked again for our appetizer he said that the food was ready like, he doesnt care) in the beginning he even took away the stuff that we were eating. The service gave a bad taste to the food and its not cheap to have this kind of service. I wont recommend.

Food is well prepared but in my opinion portions are too large. The dishes are enough for two people, which is fine with family dining but with friends not everyone has the same taste or fancies the same dish. I would prefer to pay a little less and have a manageable size portion. Dishes of the day are typical of the season.

It has two rooms and a cafe.Downstairs is noisy but it has another room upstairs where the ambience is nice and quiet. It deserves a visit because it is an old restaurant in this area and with great food. The food tastes great and the service is pleasent. Good to go with your family or friends.

Boa comida e boa relação preço/qualidade para os dias que correm. Os empregados são muito simpáticos, prestaveis e eficientes.

Ainda trazem entradas e pão sem serem pedidos, e mesmo não tendo comido o pão foi incluído na conta. A permanência do empregado enquanto se escolhe, ou, quando chega a conta é desconfortável, poder ver a ementa ou analisar a conta é algo que gosto de fazer com tempo. As sardinhas estavam razoáveis, algumas um pouco molengas.
