Star Chinese Jīn Mǎn Lóu

My sister had eaten at this place before but unfortunately it seemed to be worse when we went together compared to her previous experiences. The hygiene rating now was at (1) lower than previously. The staff were a bit slow. One of our dishes, a tofu one, which was my sister's favorite was very different this time. It looked nothing like the picture. It had no veggies at all included and there was just a layer of oil which made it very heavy and we couldn't finish it... Aside from that when we received the receipt, the prices were higher on some items than what was written in the menu!! Pretty disappointed all in all.

I have been here a few times. It's very nice the food is full of flavour and it's very quick and the price is good as well. I had the chill beef which was very spicy but it was nice in taste.

It 's controversial the fact that the food it 's very tasty and large good portions served so "familiar "simple. Maybe too familiar and the hygiene it 's at the limit. The total experience it 's average but you must think and choose from the beginning what ar you here for: food or to feel good. No room for both yet. I didn 't feel bad but the total experience it was to be suspicious. Pretty much like a cantina. If we asked for something authentic, at the number of the population in China, the restaurant can look like a cantina. Still it 's room for improvement. Anyway....We enjoyed the food. Not exceptional but good. I 'll give them some feedback here maybe they will consider. For you guys have a look in the pictures.

Great chinese restaurant Not expensive around 7-15£ Per each

I will give this place an average rating however the food is really nice hence the 3 stars The overall look inside this Chinese restaurant needs a radical revamp to move it with the times because even on sitting inside eating a meal you get a bit of a feel of a Chinese cafe of higher quality which makes it feel like a bit of a weird experience. Also the freezer in the room with various weird looking foods in it is in the wrong place. I imagined this place different looking very professionally run and modern and I hope one day it aspires to this standard Like I said the food it nice but the environment isn’t so much One day I hope that I am able to give it a 5 stars when it becomes that exclusive modern state of the art Chinese restaurant To compare it to elsewhere it reminds me of the Chinese restaurants in soho london which are not so great to Go here as a person or family taste the food and flavour the environment and draw your own conclusion by your own experience Dont let my review stop you !!
