Juberaj Indian - Cardiff

My sister and I visited Juboraj Lakeside on Saturday night, and we both agree that this restaurant serves some of the best Indian cuisine in Cardiff. The location and convenient parking make the experience much more enjoyable than your average high street restaurant. The food was delicious, with delicate flavors in every dish. The lamb biryani paired with a sweet curry was a highlight, and my sister chose the bhuna chicken, which was succulent and came with a fragrant pilau rice. I could go on about the amazing food! The staff were also wonderful, making us feel very welcome even though we arrived at 10 PM. We have this restaurant on our radar now; it’s a must-visit! The value for money is fantastic, and the portions are plentiful. 100% recommended!

I visited the restaurant on a Sunday evening in June and noticed it was busier than my previous visits. The sheekh kebab starter was tasty, although it could have been served warmer. For the main course, I had chicken vindaloo, boiled rice, and paratha. The portions were generous, and the vindaloo was indeed hot and spicy. However, I felt that the meal was slightly overpriced. A large Cobra beer was around £6, and the total for the meal, including two bottles of Cobra, came to £33.50 (see attached picture of the bill). On a positive note, the restaurant's atmosphere and location are beautiful. It's likely a great option for a special outing rather than an everyday curry.

We had a wonderful experience dining there. The staff was friendly and helpful, and even though they were busy, our food was served in a timely manner. We really enjoyed our meal!
