Matsudai Ramen - Cardiff

We really enjoyed our meal especially the sunset Yokohama ramen and both mushroom chicken karaage. This is by far the best ramen I’ve had in a long time and I honestly hope you’re thinking of setting up a permanent restaurant. You’ve got a regular customer ready to sign up. Really good job to the matsudai team!!

Have been to Matsudai several times and also booked to go again. Very tasty ramen and noodles! Wholesome and fulfilling. Amazing flavours and great vegetarian options! Tempted to even buy a T-shirt!

The food was absolutely delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Table booked weeks in advance. No mention of the fact that we could be eating outside. Arrived to find that was the only option. Had it have rained thee was no alternative. Shown to a table lit only by two tea lights. Eat very average pretty tasteless food in near darkness. Service ok although no apology for outdoor seating. Overpriced and best avoided

Beautiful food! Can’t wait to come back soon. 10/10
