While there is nothing particularly standout about the menu or decor, the food is fresh and flavorful, with unique items not commonly found elsewhere. We started with a dip and bread, then shared the dormitories. The dip and bread were good, and the dormitories were generous in size. We also split a lamb grill with mint kebab and filet, both of which were tasty, but the standout dish was a beautifully moist chicken served with rice, pomegranate, and sauce. All the dishes were delicious and reasonably priced; our meal, along with 2 soft drinks, came to £26. The staff were also friendly and attentive.
The restaurant has a wonderful ambiance, good service, delicious food, and affordable prices. We can't wait to come back again.

January is always a difficult month to find restaurants to review for the blog. Woman G is on a diet, only eating rice cakes, salad, and 0% fat Greek yogurt. Even I feel guilty for indulging in my winter diet of chocolate and toffees. That's why on Friday night I decided to treat myself to a solo meal at Mowlana, a Persian restaurant on the well-located Four Elms Road. I chose the special kebab (£12) which included perfectly grilled chicken and a thin lamb fillet. The lamb was flavorful but lacked a smoky quality due to being cooked quickly on the grill. The bread (£1) was soft, elastic, and crispy, served in a generous portion. The salad was a fresh mix of tomatoes, cucumbers, and lettuce. Overall, the meal was satisfying with a hint of smokiness from the grilled tomatoes.
